This Friday marks the return of The Movie Crush with our favorite cinematic curator, Warren Etheredge introducing us to ‘PROCESS’— part two of a four-part movie series: ART IN SHORT.
“How audiences and critics will receive an artist’s efforts is unpredictable, thus creators are wise to enjoy the process of making the work. Paint on canvas. Digital pen on tablet. Clay or camera in hand. Paper reimagined with twists or blades. The dedicated artists who invest in their particular, and sometimes peculiar, visions are enriched by the feel, the focus, the sweat, the hours. “Sylvie’s hopes of living happily-ever-after with Eugene soon dissipate when the next-door neighbor turns out to be Eugene’s mysterious former paramour, who proceeds to wreak havoc on Sylvie and Eugene’s wedding day as the uninvited guest. Scandal quickly ensues! The sequel to Barbara Pease Weber's popular play Seniors of the Sahara, The Witch in 204 weaves a tale of ageless romance and the magic of true love through the lives of those who have lived (55+), which is entertaining, hilarious and, refreshing!
Join us for this modern-day fairy tale for grownups, starring: Kim Boggs, Dale Slack, Samantha Steinhoff, Jae Goodridge, Deb Fortner, Kris Takemura, Roz Edwards, and Fred Crowe.”

PÁŠXA WINES
Walla Walla’s PÁŠXA Wines is creating a bit of a buzz in our neighborhood. Their White Blend made the Royal Block’s Fall Release Weekend list of offerings in November, the Pressroom recently completed a letterpress project for their annual allocation, and Waitsburg wine writer Paul Gregutt reviewed their newly released 2022 vintages in his Northwest Wine Guide just this week.
With excellent scores, intriguing tasting notes, and the mystique of the Rocks District, there is much to be curious about. For access to their offerings, to book a tasting experience in their beautiful Balsamroot Sunflower Room, or to learn more about their story, visit pasxawines.com.
