The Walla Walla 2050 collaborative invites you to join this annual Open House on Tuesday, October 21, from 4:30–7:30 PM (presentations will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM) at the Whitman College Reid Campus Center Young Ballroom. Come learn about and discuss fish recovery and drought in the Basin and what Walla Walla 2050 is doing to address these issues! The evening will include short presentations, interactive stations, and plenty of time to connect with others who care about the future of the Walla Walla Basin.
Enjoy family-friendly activities, along with free snacks and beverages provided throughout the evening. For more info, including presentation topics and schedule, visit wallawallawater.org.
In the Walla Walla River Basin, there is not always enough water available to meet the needs of our local communities, Tribes, farms, and aquatic ecosystems. The Walla Walla Basin Watershed Strategy (“Walla Walla 2050”) is a collaborative effort of people working together to meet the Basin’s growing water needs and provide water for healthy rivers, fish, farms, and people.
