TateArtWaitsburg will display artwork by Greg Tate and Twila JohnsonTate that explore the medium of collage through paint, found objects, paper, books and wood. Pick up a complimentary kit of vintage papers that you can use to create a paper collage of your own. One kit per person please.
Instructor Greg Tate teaches the basics of working with clay in this three session class. Class meets once per week at the Tate’s Outdoor Ceramics Studio for three weeks. Each class is three hours and will cover basic instruction in handbuilding, wheel throwing and glazing. Materials provided in this introductory class. Class Fees are non-refundable, but can be applied to another art class.

Open Sewing Lab is drop-in or stay for the afternoon and use one of our four vintage sewing machines to work on your project. $25.00 fee for Open Sewing Lab. Guidance on your projects is free!
Build a wooden tote from locally sourced barn wood! All instructions, supplies and tools are provided in a fun group atmosphere. Attendees will be using a battery operated drill, sandpaper and glue. There will be accessories available to decorate your creation as well. Size: approximately 7" deep x 14" tall x 20" long.
The totes are perfect for displaying spring flowers, tools or whatever you can imagine!
